The PH-1.0-20 ultrasonic hydrophone from the PHxx series of piezo hydrophones is the perfect choice for the reliable detection of ultrasonic signals – even in the presence of strong interference. With its high-quality ceramic sensor element, it has been specially developed for analyzing the sound output of cosmetic ultrasonic devices. Non-medical ultrasonic devices operate in the frequency range from 20 kHz to 5 MHz and cover sound power levels from a few milliwatts to several watts. The PH-1.0-20 offers the highest precision and robustness.

Robust design and superior signal sensitivity

The PHxx hydrophones are equipped with a durable PEEK housing that includes an integrated mounting bracket for easy positioning. Without an additional preamplifier, the hydrophone achieves 30-40 dB higher signal sensitivity than conventional diaphragm or needle hydrophones. Thanks to the double-shielded cable, it also ensures excellent EMC safety, ideal for measurements in environments prone to interference.

The Piezo hydrophone PHxx-1.0-20 impresses with its robust design, easy handling and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. It is particularly suitable for measurements under difficult EMC conditions. Due to the size of the active element and the wide frequency range, it is ideal for sound measurement in the following applications:

(Care must be taken when using the piezohydrophone to record HIFU signals: Cavitations must be avoided as they can permanently damage the hydrophone.)
