Our secondary calibration service uses a reliable, professional setup that meets the IEC standard for precise calibration. We generate the test signal with a pulse-driven source probe and compare your hydrophone’s response to the output of a calibrated reference hydrophone. For reference, we use a calibrated membrane hydrophone with flat sensitivity, high sensitivity, and a 100-micron active element size, ensuring high-resolution measurements. Through careful analysis and calculations, we deliver a sensitivity curve that shows your hydrophone’s performance across frequencies ranging from 500 kHz to 100 MHz. This ensures accurate, traceable measurements—ideal for routine checks and less demanding applications.
