From September 21 to 25, 2025, the International Congress on Ultrasonics (ICU) took place in Paderborn. Organized by the ICU Board and Paderborn University, this globally significant congress brought together experts from science and industry to present current findings and developments in all areas of ultrasound research and application. In addition to the fundamentals of ultrasound propagation, the focus was on diverse fields of application – from material characterization and non-destructive testing to process measurement technology and sonochemistry, as well as medical applications in diagnostics and therapy. The international exchange offered participants a unique platform to present research results, establish new contacts, and initiate collaborations.

GAMPT also participated in ICU2025 and presented the ultrasound scanner system. At our booth, numerous technical discussions took place, providing the opportunity to showcase our system in detail and to exchange ideas with visitors on applications and practical experiences.
