Berlin, June 13, 2024: At the SME Innovation Day of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), innovative SMEs will present themselves as the driving force of the German economy. Under the motto “This is how the future works! – Digital. Transformative. Resilient.” the event promises exciting insights into pioneering technologies and shows how entrepreneurs from all over Germany are driving technological change. Around 300 exhibitors will present the results of their pioneering research and development projects at the open-air event, inviting visitors on a voyage of discovery.

At the event, we will be presenting the Brainsaver, which is being developed as part of a research project (in collaboration with cardiologist and idea generator PD Dr. med. Karsten Lenk, Managing Senior Physician at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Cardiology at Leipzig University Hospital and other scientists from the Innovation Center for Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) at Leipzig University).

As with all the exhibits on show in Berlin, our development was also supported by BMWK funding. In addition to a comprehensive range of information and advice on supporting innovative ideas through the BMWK’s numerous funding initiatives and programs, the Innovation Day will also provide an opportunity to talk to representatives from business, research and politics in a summery atmosphere.

Also on the event agenda: an International Area with offers to support international cooperation, guided tours of the exhibition grounds and a diverse stage program with impulses on innovation policy topics as well as speed pitch sessions on the topics “Digital: Artificial Intelligence in Practice”, “Transformative: Technologies in Change” and “Resilient: Innovations for More Security”.

The event, organized by AiF Projekt GmbH on behalf of the BMWK, starts at 10:00 a.m., admission is from 9:00 a.m.. Attendance is free of charg
